Dhamma Padaya – Appamada Waggaya
Living consciously and wisely contemplating is the key to achieving ‘Nirwana’. While failing to contemplate with awareness and wisdom can lead to being trapped by Mara. Engaging in degenerate activities may lead one to be influenced by Mara, but a mindful person is not susceptible to Mara’s trap.
The wise man, who dwells mindfully with exceptional knowledge of everything, lives happily with the engrossed mind in the noble purpose without hesitation.
He who meditates with steadfast effort, contemplating his thoughts wisely in each moment and acts with mind and body accordingly, frees himself from the bonds of lust, and attains the supreme ‘Nirwana’.
