Dhamma Padaya – Kroda Waggaya
There is no difference whether it is ancient times or today.
One is blamed regardless of whether they are silent or talk less. He also is blamed, even when he speaks too much.
There is no one who has not been blamed, even if they talk to an extent.
This is observable that people in this world are not always saying the same, not always doing the same, and not always thinking the same.
Who praises at one time may insult at another time.
A wise person only offers praise after conducting a thorough analysis and determining that it will result in positive outcomes.
Thus, the wise man does not create any wrong existence.
He cultivates virtue, wisdom, and concentration in himself.
For what reason would he be insulted by someone who shines with virtue like the precious gold called Jambonada?
Gods and Brahmins also praise him.
