Dhamma Padaya – Buddha Waggaya
Those who seek refuge in rocks, forests, temples, trees, vines, and pagodas are people who live in fear.
None of those refuges provide protection.
None of those refuges brings comfort.
That refuge does not banish Suffering.
A person who took refuge in the Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha with understanding understands the fourfold truth well and wisely.
Comprehending wisely the Suffering, the Cause of the Suffering, ‘Nirwana’, and the ‘Eight-Fold’ Path is the way of getting rid of Suffering.
It helps to attain ‘Nirwana’. It helps to free from Suffering.
That realisation eliminates all the Suffering.
It helps in ‘Nirwana’. It helps in getting rid of sorrow.
That realisation banishes all the Suffering.
