Do not scold with bad words in return for someone’s nasty words.
Taking revenge in return for someone’s bad behaviour is an occurrence of defilement.
The retribution of defilements causes one to suffer.
If someone punishes himself who is innocent by committing the bad karma of engaging in revenge, he is not seen as a person who will realise ‘Nirwana’.
