Bhaddekaraththa Suthraya

Majjhima Nikaya- Uparipannasa Pali- Vibhangga Waggaya
Remember, this section of Bhaddekaraththa Suthra explains what practices to follow to have a good night.

The past will not return.
The future that has not yet come is uncertain.
Get rid of the ‘Craving- Obstinacy- Arrogance’ that has been created as “I- Mine- My Soul” in the past.

The undefeated and unfazed wise who contemplate wisely and consciously at the very present moment the events and images that exist in each moment cultivate wisdom.

That wise who eliminates defilement at the very present moment, how much of a higher comfortable death he can get because of not engaging in a war with the evil army called defilements.

The sages say that the wise who eliminate defilements diligently both day and night will undoubtedly have a peaceful and appeased good night.
