Dhamma Padaya – Buddha Waggaya

Separating from all the immoral actions caused by ‘Greed-Hatred-Delusion’,
Attaining higher status by eliminating ‘Craving-Obstinacy-Arrogance’,
Freeing the mind by eliminating the deceptive ideology of ‘I am – mine – my soul’ with the understanding of the true nature of the Body- Mind,
These are the teachings of All Buddhas!

Patience is the greatest virtue in controlling one’s body- speech- mind.
‘Nirwana’ is the greatest exhortation of a Buddha.

Even if a ‘Pavidda’ (Priest) kills others,
A ‘Shramana’ (monk) does not even harm others.

‘Behaving not to be scorned by the wise,
Non-harassment of others,
preserving the virtues (Pathomoksha shila) of a monk,
Having food by knowing the amount of food, the stomach needs,
Dwelling in a tranquil place,
Striving to maintain a concentrated mind’,
to keep following all these is the advice of the Buddhas.
